Byesville sold to Island Oasis
NASHVILLE, Tennessee (May 2007)—Bailey Southwell & Co., LLC (BSC) is pleased to announce the completion of the sale of Byesville Aseptics (BALLC), a privately-held leader in aseptic packaging, to Island Oasis (IO), a leading producer of high quality frozen drink mixes in the food-service industry. The transaction was closed on May 8, 2007. BSC acted as the exclusive advisor to BALLC.
Looking to expand its innovative aseptic packaging business, BALLC engaged BSC to explore strategic options to support that growth. After an extensive strategy review process with BALLC’s management team, it was decided that a sale to IO was the most attractive option. Now BALLC, a subsidiary of IO, can expand it bag-in-box product offering and fulfill its contract with one of the world’s largest beverage producers.
