We are proud to announce the sale of Medical Consultants Network (“MCN”) to Mitchell International (“Mitchell”), our 14th transaction in the Payer Services sector in the past four years, demonstrating our continued momentum with vendors serving payers in the workers’ comp, disability, auto, and group health markets.
Through this acquisition, Mitchell can integrate its leading bill review technology with MCN’s national provider network to improve end-user experience and simplify the IME and peer review processes for claims professionals. The combined solution will leverage extensive data to deliver innovative decision support and risk scoring technology to flag claims where an IME or peer review may be appropriate.
Our client felt that we had consistently kept their objectives in mind throughout the process:
“Bailey Southwell demonstrated a deep focus and domain expertise in the space that MCN operates, understanding the ecosystem and the needs of prospective buyers. As an owner, a company sale is a once in a lifetime experience that requires guidance and experience to help us understand the process and perform many of the critical tasks needed to complete a deal, while allowing us to continue to focus on our business and customers,” shared Brian Grant, Medical Director & President of MCN. “The Bailey Southwell team advocated for MCN’s interests from finding Mitchell as a partner to leading us through the completed transaction.”
